Feb 20th - EDIC Book Club

  • Time: 12 - 1 pm
  • Location: EDIC Center (BE1112)
  • Description: Celebrate and learn about the contributions of African/African American authors within literature.

Feb 21st - Black Cultural Heritage Event in partnership with Umoja

  • Time: 2 - 5 pm
  • Location: Broadway Performance Hall
  • Description: Join us in a celebration of the cultures from Africa. Come see beautiful cultural clothing, dances, food, and much more from the African Diaspora. 

Feb 28th - Pancakes & Podcast in partnership with Umoja

  • Time: 12 - 3 pm
  • Location: Umoja Classroom (BE 3201)
  • Description: Join us in listening to a facilitated podcast session along with some pancake eating.

Queer/Trans Gathering Space (Open to Employees)

A social gathering space for queer and trans-identifying staff and faculty. Join us in building a community and connection with other LGBTQIA2S+ folks at Seattle Central.

Sister Circle (Open to Students)

Sister Circle is a place specifically for black women, femmes, and those who identify outside of the binary to be in a community with each other! The space will be for people to connect and talk about whatever is most important to us and whatever folks would like to share to build community.

Fellas Friday is a space for black men, masc, and all those who identify as black/African American masculine individuals. It is a place for connection, networking, building community, and more.
